LSC Safe Sport Chairs/Coordinators,

Thank you all for your hard work in promoting Safe Sport and supporting clubs in their efforts to achieve Safe Sport Club Recognition!

 

AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 29 CLUBS COMPLETED SAFE SPORT CLUB RECOGNITION FROM 18 DIFFERENT LSC’s!
  • 24 of these were renewals.
  • 18 clubs had their Safe Sport Recognition expire in August.
  • 211 parents and athletes attended a virtual training!*

 

*(Reminder: Virtual training numbers are entered in the application only and will not show on SWIMS reports. Clubs can ask for a roster of attendance by emailing ssrp@usaswimming.org)

The U.S. Center for SafeSport is currently migrating to a new reporting system. As part of this transition, all clubs should update their websites to use the new online reporting form:

SAFE SPORT CLUB RECOGNITION BANNERS

We are excited to announce that the Safe Sport Club Recognition banner design has been approved!

 

  • Beginning this month, clubs who have achieved Safe Sport Club Recognition in 2025 and beyond will receive digital artwork for an official recognition banner.
  • Recognized clubs will receive a digital design sized 2.5' x 4'.
  • Banners may be printed through any vendor of the club's choice, with an estimated printing cost of approximately $50 through providers such as Vistaprint.
  • Once printed, the banner can be displayed in the club’s facility to showcase their commitment to athlete safety and celebrate their achievement as a Safe Sport Recognized Club.

 

This banner is more than a display piece. It is a visible reminder to athletes, families, coaches, and the community that their club has taken meaningful steps to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all members.

 

 

 

3-MONTH PLAN FOR LSC SAFE SPORT CHAIRS
DESIGNED TO SUPPORT CLUBS IN ACHIEVING SSRP

This 3-month plan is designed to help LSC Safe Sport Chairs build connections with clubs and provide guidance as they work toward Safe Sport Club Recognition.

Also included in this email is a sample engagement email that can be customized and sent to clubs within your LSC. The purpose of the email is to introduce yourself as a resource, establish communication, and encourage clubs to contact you with questions or for support.

Similar to the club 3-month plan, this guide outlines weekly outreach and engagement activities to help you stay connected with clubs and support their progress toward recognition.
