After having established 6 state records for 10-under boys that are still on the books and 8 state records for the 11-12 boys that are still on the books, Connor Ventura just of MAUI swim club hit his first state record for 13-14 boys hitting a time of 23.89 in the 50 yard fly. The new USA Swimming technical rule amendments have been issued. See the Rules and Policies page on the USA Swimming website. These new rules are effective immediately (May 7, 2026). The pool events at the Oceania Swimming Championship 2026 begin tomorrow! Oceania is a regional swimming championship organized by FINA (the worldwide governing body for the sport of swimming) and Hawai'i is an affiliate member of Oceania. In total there will be 18 nations/affiliate members comepting. Team Hawai'i is sending 14 members to the meet which is being held in Suva, Fiji.
