The Application for Athletes for the 2026 Team Hawaii Western Zone Age Group Championships (WZAG) is planned to be posted by May 15, 2026. The WZAG Championships is open to qualifying athletes 14 years and younger as of August 5, 2026. The original site for this year's WZ AG Championships was Mt. Hood Community College Aquatic Center, which was unexpectedly closed and will not be available this summer. A new site is expected to be announced by WZ officials by May 23, 2026. The pool events at the Oceania Swimming Championship 2026 begin tomorrow! Oceania is a regional swimming championship organized by FINA (the worldwide governing body for the sport of swimming) and Hawai'i is an affiliate member of Oceania. In total there will be 18 nations/affiliate members comepting. Team Hawai'i is sending 14 members to the meet which is being held in Suva, Fiji. Starting immediately, in accordance to HISI P&P Section 5.02 NON-REGISTERED SWIMMERS, a $100 fine will be assessed to the athlete’s club or the club entering the non-registered athlete. The fine will be assessed for each athlete identified by the Meet RECON report and verified on SWIMS as non-registered. Non-registered athletes entered in meets are assumed to be training with the team they are attached to and have been training in violation of USA Swimming’s mandatory requirements.
