Kamehameha swim club swimmers close out state champs with new state records

The Kamehameha girls 200 free relay team closed out senior champs with a new Hawaiian Swimming Open record. The team of Journei Webster, Andrea Zeebe, Gigi Hioki and Kai Flanagan punched the clock in a time of 1:48.09.  Finally, Amare San Diego of Kamehameha Swim club broke the state record in the boys 15-16 50 meter breaststroke stopping the clock in a time of 29.97.

The top 3 teams overall at the meet were

1. Kamehameha Swim Club

2. Iolani Swim Club

3. Aulea Swim club

Finally, congratulations to Juan Sebastian Bonilla of Aulea Swim Club and Sage Miller of Iolani Swim Club who won the individual high point awards.
