USA Swimming IM Extreme Challenge:

USA Swimming provides a ranking system which emphasizes the benefits of being a balanced swimmer by encouraging swimmers to compete in the longer distances of each stroke and IM events. Studies show, as swimmers mature, proficiency in all four strokes provides better body/water awareness which ultimately leads to improved performance in a swimmer's primary stroke.
